Biography
Melissa Seaton, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare, specializing in integrative and preventative medicine. Her approach blends evidence-based conventional care with functional medicine principles to help patients achieve optimal, long-term health. She is currently pursuing advanced training through the A4M Functional Medicine Fellowship, with additional focus in nutrition, exercise programming, peptide therapy, and gut health.
Her journey into healthcare is deeply personal. Growing up as an overweight child surrounded by chronic disease, she witnessed firsthand the impact that health challenges can have on overall quality of life. She experienced not only the physical effects, but also the toll it took on her confidence and mental well-being. That experience sparked a passion for health and wellness—not just to transform her own life, but to help others reclaim theirs. This perspective continues to shape how she cares for her patients today.
Melissa believes strongly that patients deserve to be heard. Rather than treating isolated symptoms or individual body systems, she takes a whole-person approach—considering how lifestyle, environment, genetics, and mental well-being all work together. Her goal is to partner with each patient to create personalized, sustainable strategies that support true healing and long-term vitality.
Her experience spans a wide range of healthcare environments, from intensive care units managing critically ill patients to direct primary care, women’s health, and medical aesthetics, allowing her to bring a thoughtful, comprehensive perspective to patient care.
