Biography
Dr. Vitor Cervantes Gornati is a vascular and endovascular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive treatment of venous and lymphatic disorders, including Lipedema and lymphedema.
He earned his medical degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and completed his residency in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at USP. He further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in Endovascular Surgery at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Dr. Gornati holds a Ph.D. in Surgery from USP and completed postgraduate training in Surgical Leadership at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Gornati focuses on minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of lower limb varicose veins, pelvic venous disorders, and lymphatic conditions. His work integrates advanced laser and endovenous technologies with comprehensive vascular diagnostics.
He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, the American Venous Forum, and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He is also a founder and director of the Science360 Endovenous Surgery Course, the Lipedema Academy, the Science Endovascular Congress, and the Lipedema International Symposium.
